Trained as an architect and as a landscape architect, Peter Ker Walker, the principal of the firm, brings a unique set of skills and insights from both disciplines to his practice. Since establishing his own firm in 1986 Peter Ker Walker has been responsible for completing a rich variety of projects in the United States, France, Great Britain, Japan, Jordan, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Significant commissions have included urban and civic developments, large-scale regional parks, botanic gardens, museums, plazas, private residencies, and interior gardens. Peter Ker Walker is well known for designs featuring water and for open spaces and plantings on structured decks.
